You can set a limit that suggests the maximum number of photos that ideally should be selected by the client. We can set hard limit and soft limits. 

Hard limit is when it is restricted to the set limit. The app will not allow the customer to select beyond that limit. This can be done from the settings in web app. 

Soft limit is when we mention the limit but do not restrict the selection. This will help the photographer to analyze how many more pictures have been selected and take a decision accordingly. This can be done at project level on both Web App and Desktop App.

Once you have set the number of photos, your client will see the suggestion limit in the following places : 

1. Welcome page
2. Home page
3. On the header of each Image 

How to set the limit for photo selection?

Hard Limit:

You can set a default limit for all your new projects in the Selection and Signature settings page 

Soft limit:

You can update the limit for each project on the Selection edit page in the app.premagic.com

Project -> Selection Album -> Edit album 

You can update the limit on the desktop app also.
