Thumbnails are created when you set the cover photo for the signature album. When you share the link in whatsapp/facebook, Facebook caches this thumbnail. So
You can verify the thumbnail photo from Facebook debug tool https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
- Paste the signature album URL and click on debug
- Click on "fetch new information" if the information is not available.
- Verify the image cover photo.
- If you want to update the cover photo then click on scrap again
